ApeEvents....Fun and Entertainment.

Hi, My name is Ken Cusack and it all began while reading Science at Trinity College Dublin,when a career switch to the arts, where I trained as a Marionette Puppeteer. From there I went on to join the Puppet Theatre Group founded by an ex-member of Philipe Gente fame.Performed shows at Dublin Theatre Festival, R.T.E., Dublin Street Carnival, Gael Linn and many more events. 

From there I founded my own troupe and produced many original shows that performed at many events through-out Ireland.Kilkenny Arts/Ennis Arts/Eigse/A.I.B etc

 I progressed into comedy Acting and the Performing Arts. I began Clowning for Childrens' Parties and developed my Humpty Dumpty Act, which went on to perform over 250 shows.

Branching out into many other Acts such as; Charlie Chaplin, Groucho Marx, Frankenstein, Gun Slinger, Dracula, Buster Keaton, Batman, Mimo the Clown,and many many more.

Staging a re-enactment Western show with 12 Actors,Outlaws and Sheriff/Deputies at three different events over festival weekends[Tullow Arts Week/Cahirsiveen Arts where a special DVD recording was made of the show{Available free upon request}/Skibereen Country Western Weekend.

I now perform my hughly successful comedy Magic Show at a variety of locations incl; Hotels, Irish Ferries, Festivals, Corporate parties and private Birthday Parties.

  • Disco with Face/Tattoo Painting. Full mini P.A. with Lights & Microphone.All the Kids hits. Painting from full face to trendy Tattoos. All paints fully compliant.
  • Games. From Musical Bumps/ Pass the Parcel/Balloon Race. etc.

Note: The programme lasts from 2 to 2 &1/2 hours.

WALK ABOUT CHARACTERS

These characters are designed to be fun and interactive. They range in style and appeal. From Comedy to Science Fiction, Horror to Super-Hero, Hollywood to Classical. Sometimes Solo or double acts or more.

Performed in Street for Festivals or Corporate. They always attract attention by the young and older.

Typical comment,

                               "Dad, who are they"?

                               "Why Son, that's Capt. Kirk and Mister Spock"!

 or,                     "Look Mum, it's BATMAN"!

 and                    "Hmmm, I haven't seen Charlie for 60 years....."

 

and so on.

  Having worked sucessfully in the business for over 20 years, one sees lots of entertainers come and go. I have built up a credible list of fellow entertainers from having been on the circuit and have added them to my recommended list. 

 I promote those whom I found to be the most professional, reliable and entertaining.
